when you're slidin into home and your shorts are full of foam...

renteria... renteria...

nah, he's playing better of late... its the rest of the team that scares me... but fear not, gentle beings... i, your faithful servant, will be there in person at yankee stadium in the bronx tomorrow night on the greatest day ever known to man, may 27... there, with my trusty sidekick the blaze sitting right next to me, i will file a full report on the evening's proceedings - will manny get a hit? will millar finally be benched? will the big unit stymie the sox or will his recent struggles continue? will the sox keep looking like a AA team on the road, as opposed to the world beaters they appear to be at home?

personally, i think they're in trouble... they've not only let the 8 game cushion they had over they yanks completely disappear, they've fallen into fourth place, ahead of only the devil dogs... nuthin's workin right now, not the hitting, the starting pitching or the bullpen... and they're gonna need wake to be the stopper - the same wake who has strangely resembled the pitcher who has at least one stretch of 5 or more starts in which he STINKS every year over the last couple weeks... it's still to early to panic... but it sure ain't that much fun watching these days... maybe i'll be too numbed by enough $8 yankee stadium beers to notice if anything bad happens...

so stay tuned... all the coverage you need is coming soon!

ps- still 34 minutes to get those ipods, new phones, trips to hawaii and large monetary awards... i'll even except them past midnight tomorrow... just the kind of guy i am... lates.

Jerimidius,
I would like to take this time to send you a happy Memorial Day blessing. It's comforting to know that we are surrounded by all this freedom and liberty and much of the thanks should be sent to out to our wonderful President for leading us in this march against terrorism. I know that, you, me and Mr. Anonymous from two posts ago all admire his determination and I can say proudly that if me and Marty McFly went back in time, I would surely vote for him again.
Jim

P.S. BRONSON ARROYO is an anagram for HECTOR'S STEAK
